Who are we?
The Wairarapa Angels club is a diverse group of individuals who invest in early stage companies with the potential for rapid expansion.
We are a social and supportive club that aims to help members to help companies.
The club provides opportunities for professional development, involvement in start-up and early stage companies and early stage investment - because we reckon that first in is best dressed.
We invest and support entrepreneurs in Wairarapa but also beyond our borders
What do we do?
We meet up regularly to review potential deals for our club to invest in. Upcoming events will be posted here.
We hold social events for investors and the wider entrepreneurial ecosystem to get together and network/learn/have fun.
We work alongside entrepreneurs in the Wairarapa to help them get investor-ready - and point them to more in depth support if we can't provide it.
Our next investment evening is on 8th April 2020, at 3Mile Coworking Community in Carterton.
How does it work?
We're part of the AngelHQ club - they're our 'sister' network based in Wellington city. Our members join their club ($575 fee) and can participate in all AngelHQ events and deals like any other member.
Angel investors need to be

willing to dedicate time and effort to activities, including attending meetings, screening sessions and presentation evenings, mentoring entrepreneurs etc
